Artist/ Designer / Visual Developer / Video and Projection

"My art is my own thrust against the limitation of words. My designs are what I desire. My illustrations are about the characters living in my imagination and everything else is created from my passion for visual expression."

Riki is a visual artist interested in creative ways to use images ranging from illustrations to video projections. She loves good design, great style, and tasteful art. Riki is always looking for ways to grow as an artist and philosophy plays its part.

Riki is not only well traveled but lived in Seoul, Tokyo, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Greater D.C., London, Milan, and now resides in Baltimore USA where she adopted a horse. Riki did B.F.A. in Visual Development for Animation at Academy of Art University. To evolve her visual skills, she did a M.F.A. in Advanced Theatre Practices at Central School of Speech and Drama in University of London U.K.

Riki has been involved in several independent devised theatre productions, couple of illustrations shown at university galleries, designed logos and posters for club nights and performances, performance video productions, and photo shoots. Her career is still at its beginnings, expanding and paving its way.

Riki is currently interested in working on innovative ways to enjoy live classical music using performance videos, creating an independent stop motion animation, a book project, and design project for equestrian style. Besides art, Riki is a passionate equestrian. She loves to spend time with her old rescued thoroughbred, Mr.Duncan and practice her riding skills in Hunter/Jumper.
